The Mock-Up Studios String Quartet is a group of some of the best professional string players in the southern Colorado area, currently booking for the best pricing anywhere. We have top client ratings from MarthaStewartWeddings and WeddingAces and recently won WeddingWire’s 2010 Brides’ Choice Award.
We are skilled, reliable, experienced, flexible, easy to work with, professional, and classy. Our repertoire is classical-heavy, with a little added pop and jazz. If you are looking for a special song or two, we should be able to write an arrangement just for you, at no additional cost. You have your choice of ensemble: from soloist to the full quartet.

The details are simple. To hire and plan is $75. For the actual event, pricing is $75/musician/hour. That means a violin/cello duo for a wedding ceremony comes to a total fee of only $225! That price simply does not exist elsewhere. (Some travel costs may apply if the event is 30 or more miles away from downtown Colorado Springs.)
Weddings
Trust me with your learning curve! Until now you haven’t had to know the difference between a postlude and a processional.You may have also been planning on just having a friend push a button on an mp3 player once you’ve finished your gorgeous march up the aisle. This is a bad idea. It is undeniably awkward for your dream song to be punctuated by an OFF button instead of the beautiful, musical conclusion we are able to provide. Also, we can be your unofficial emcees, calling the shots when not even the officiant knows what to do.
We know what we are doing and can bring your musician-hiring, wedding-planning learning curve down to a lovely plateau. Let us handle the details, and your special day will be a success.
